Who we are
Spooky Word Hunt ("the app") is a Halloween word-search game for children and families, published by PSU Pro, LLC ("we", "us"). Contact: support@psupro.com.
What we collect
We do not collect any personal information: we do not ask for a name, email address, birthday, location, photos, contacts or any other personal information, and the app does not create accounts. We do not use analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services, and we do not use any advertising identifier. The one exception is the anonymous purchase record described under Purchases below.
What stays on your device
Your game progress (stars, unlocked levels, settings such as the chosen age mode, sound and haptics, and the optional player name or avatar) is saved only on your device. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it.
Purchases
The app is free to play with an optional one-time purchase ("Spooky Premium"). The purchase screen is protected by a grown-ups-only gate. Payments are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see or store your payment details.
To confirm that a purchase is valid and to restore it on your devices, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-processing service provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and the store receipt and purchase history. It keeps this record on our behalf to confirm the purchase, restore it, and give us aggregate purchase statistics. The record is not linked to your name or contact details, and it is never used for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Sharing your results
When you choose to share a result card, the app creates an image on your device and hands it to the share sheet of your phone. Where it goes is up to you. The app does not upload the image and does not ask for access to your photo library.
Children's privacy (COPPA and similar laws)
The app is designed for children, including children under 13. We do not collect personal information from children or from anyone else. The app contains no advertising, no behavioral tracking, no social features and no links out of the app that are not behind the grown-ups-only gate. Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing personal for a parent to review on our side. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
How to delete your data
There are no accounts, and we hold no personal data about you. Everything the app saves lives only on your device. To erase your child's progress, open Settings → Reset progress in the app. To remove all app data from the device, uninstall the app. To have the anonymous purchase record deleted from RevenueCat, email support@psupro.com with the order number from your App Store or Google Play receipt email, and we will delete it. Store purchase records themselves stay with Apple or Google under their own policies and can be managed in your store account.
Data security and retention
We hold no personal data. The anonymous purchase record is kept for as long as the app needs it to restore the purchase, or until you ask us to delete it. Data on your device is protected by your device's own security.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
