Short version: HITCH is a game for fun. Play fairly. HITCH Plus is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Apple or Google handle refunds.
Effective date: October 10, 2026. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PSU Pro, LLC ("we", "us") for the HITCH app and website. By installing or using HITCH you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use HITCH on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. HITCH, its puzzles, design and content remain our property or that of our licensors. If you downloaded HITCH from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
2. Purchases
- HITCH is free to play. HITCH Plus is optional and unlocks the full puzzle archive and the choice of Easy, Medium or Hard.
- HITCH Plus is a one-time purchase at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase. It is not a subscription and never renews. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.
- Use "Restore purchases" in Settings to recover your purchase on a new device that uses the same store account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app except as the law allows; use bots, scripts or exploits to alter puzzles, stats or purchases; circumvent purchases or other technical protections; copy or resell the puzzles or content; or use the app unlawfully.
4. Disclaimer
HITCH is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that puzzles will always be available. Stats and progress are stored on your device and may be lost if you delete the app or lose your device.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of HITCH. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim (or US$50 if you paid nothing). Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
6. Termination
You can stop using HITCH at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above, and for material changes give notice in the app or store listing. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which PSU Pro, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.
